And don’t forget about your extensions! This versatile leave-in moisturiser is perfect for keeping them looking and feeling great too.

Dry hair

If your hair is dry, it is already telling you that hydration is needed to prevent split ends and breakage. Hair needs elasticity (the ability to stretch and bounce back without breakage) supported by moisture and hydration. Last Defence along with our hydration treatment and pH balancing shampoo/conditioner will repair hair from the inside out.

Healthy hair doesn’t frizz.

While some of us are naturally prone to frizzy hair, it is important to understand that the frizz comes from a weak point in our overall hair growth phase. Feeding your hair with proper nutrients will assist with healing and repairing hair.

Damaged hair

Damaged hair can come in many forms but stems from the hair’s strength and integrity getting struck by elements such as the environment, heat and chemical processing. It’s always possible to make amends and show your hair you care. Hydrating hair with a nutrient-rich leave-in is the best way to begin the healing process and repair hair from the inside out, not just coat the top layer of hair for a quick fix!

Curly hair

Curly hair follicles tend to grow-in oblong versus in a complete circle, which allows the spiral shape to form. Your cuticle can flip up on that C or S shape it is creating—which is the perfect enemy to your hydration. By incorporating our leave-in moisturiser into your routine, you are replenishing those weak points throughout your strands and replacing lost moisture and hydration. When you find the perfect amount of hydration, you can expect curls and coils to look and feel their best!

Bleached or colour-treated hair

Anytime we introduce a colour, bleach or highlights to our hair, we add chemicals that can strip our hair of hydration and change the pH level of our hair. The pH is essential to keep in check simply because this is how the cuticle layer protects and retains colour and moisture within your hair.

Our Last Defence leave-in moisturiser delivers remarkable results thanks to its carefully selected, nourishing ingredients.

Biotin, a powerful B7 vitamin, thickens hair while promoting healthier growth and nourishment to your scalp. This is achieved by stimulating natural keratin production, addressing hair health from the root up.

Prickly pear is packed with amino acids that enhance collagen production, promoting a faster cell turnover, removing dead skin cells from your scalp, and preventing the growth of bacteria.

Lemon Myrtle, a calming, refreshing fragrance with strong antioxidants and anti-fungal properties, was sourced from the Australian native plant Backhousia Citriodora.

The nourishing properties of Coconut oil, derived from Cocos nucifera, penetrate the hair shaft with its low molecular weight and help to nurture the scalp. Its fatty acids act as an effective anti-dandruff agent.

Behetrimonium Chloride is an antistatic agent that helps with defrizzing and conditioning. Polyquaternium-7 leaves your hair feeling soft and betaine hydrates your hair. Panthenol helps strengthen and repair the keratin in your hair, while Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein provides conditioning. Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil and Opuntia Ficus-Indica (Prickly Pear) Seed Oil also provide hydration and conditioning for your hair.
Calcium Gluconate helps to retain moisture in your hair, while Cocodimonium Hydroxypropyl Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein provides antistatic and conditioning benefits. Faex (Yeast) Extract also provides conditioning benefits for your hair.
Niacinamide helps to increase body, suppleness, and sheen in your hair, while Riboflavin (Vitamin B12) promotes hair growth. Inositol is an anti-static and conditioning agent, and Thiamine HCL promotes growth and shine in your hair. Pyridoxine HCL (Vitamin B6) stimulates hair growth and provides conditioning benefits. Biotin helps thicken and stimulate hair growth, while Cyanocobalamin helps maintain hair colour and promote hair growth.
Finally, Gluconolactone forms a barrier and hydrates your hair, while also acting as a preservative. Sodium Benzoate is also used as a preservative to ensure the product remains stable and safe for use.
Using this leave-in hair treatment regularly can help to nourish and repair your hair, making it look and feel healthier and more manageable.
