Top Ingredients

Biotin:
Our B7 vitamin is essential for assisting with thinning hair. This excellent vitamin also stimulates the natural keratin production in your hair, allowing for healthier hair growth and nourishment to your scalp by getting to the root of the problem. Team this with our other hair-loving ingredients and your hair will start to thank you!

Prickly pear:
Contains amino acids that naturally stimulate collagen production to promote a faster cell turnover, removing dead skin cells from your scalp and preventing bacteria from forming. Having prickly pear in your Last defence leave-in moisturiser helps protect strands from the everyday elements such as sun, wind, and environmental pollutants. Prickly pear also helps get your hair’s PH balance to 4.5 to 5.5. Prickly pear is a core ingredient in Yen Body’s Cortex protection leave-in moisturiser and hair care routine.
We love that it has a natural antioxidant, vitamin E, which helps maintain hair growth and protects your hair and scalp from free radicals. This can cause a break down in the function of cells which can lead to breakage of hair follicles and hair loss. That’s why prickly pear is a must-have in our last defence leave-in moisturiser!

Cocos nucifera Coconut oil
One of our favourite ingredients! This powerful oil helps penetrate the hair shaft due to its low molecular weight, making its way to the cortex. Our cortex protection leave-in moisturiser will strengthen and repair hair from the inside out. Your strands will feel rejuvenated and ready to take on the world.

Backhousia Citriodora Lemon Myrtle:
The Australian native Lemon myrtle. This remarkable ingredient smells fresh and invigorating and has powerful antioxidants and anti-fungal properties. How could we go past these uplifting benefits?
