I love Kourtney’s new blonde bob, which is a stunning choice that perfectly suits her face shape. The length and shape of the bob create a sleek and stylish look that is versatile and easy to style. The blonde colour adds a modern twist to the classic bob style, giving it a fresh and trendy feel.

One of the great things about Kourtney’s new haircut is its versatility. She can wear it slick with a middle part for a more polished look or add some texture and flip it over to the side for a softer, more relaxed vibe. This makes it a great choice for anyone looking for a low-maintenance yet stylish haircut.

It’s a great choice for anyone looking to update their look for the new year and is suitable for a wide range of face shapes and hair types.

A hairdresser’s technical guide on how to cut a bob haircut. Here are the steps:

  1. Prepare the Hair. Begin by washing and conditioning the hair with Yen Body cortex shampoo and conditioner to ensure it’s clean and easy to work with. Then, comb the hair and remove any tangles.
  2. Section the hair Divide the hair into four sections, starting from the front hairline to the nape of the neck, then from ear to ear. Pin each section out of the way.
  3. Start with the back section. Take a small section of hair and comb it straight down. Hold the hair between your fingers at the desired length, and cut straight across, untill you have worked your way up and all the back section have been cut.
  4. Cut the Sides Unclip one of the side sections and comb it down. Take a section of hair and, with your fingers, pull down to the shoulder and cut the hair at an angle, pointing towards the front. Again work your way up the head till all the side has been cut.
  5. I prefer to start by blow-waving the hair as it provides a smooth and voluminous base. Once the hair is blow waved, I can then personalize the cut to achieve the desired style. This not only creates a customized look for the client but also makes it easier for them to maintain the style at home
  6. To blend the layers, use a technique called point cutting. This involves holding the hair at a 45-degree angle and cutting into the ends with scissors, depending on how you want the bob to fall.
  7. I will finish with a Cloud nine flat iron and serum. We love to use Argan oil by Theorie or GHD hot tongs and volumizing powder if I want to create some texture.
