The pH scale goes from 0 to 14, with 0 to 6 being acidic, 7 being neutral, and 8 to 14 being alkaline. With our hair, we should be around 4.5 to 5.5
Balancing our hair’s pH is vital for preventing unwanted breakage, sealing the hair cuticles, and maintaining moisture and natural oils.

The cortex is the thickest layer in the hair shaft, which also holds most of the hair pigment, giving you your hair colour. Our hair shaft comprises three layers; the cortex is the middle layer and provides about 90% of the hair’s strength and texture. Knowing this, we have formulated our cortex care conditioner to work deep into the hair shaft, helping to strengthen it from the inside out.
How to apply the Cortex Care Conditioner:
After cleansing with your cortex protection shampoo, you will apply four pumps of our milky cortex care conditioner into the palm of your hands.
Rub together and apply to mid-lengths and ends in a downward motion. Ensuring the ends of your hair are nicely coated. Enjoy a few minutes of Bliss, then rinse.

Glycerin: Pulls in moisture from the air; moisture is the key to improving dry and damaged hair. It also nourishes your scalp, assisting with dandruff and dry and irritated scalps.
Hydrolysed Wheat Protein: We are all about moisture, but for our Cortex Protection conditioner, we also needed just a dash of protein. It helps with breakage, eliminates frizz and tangles and makes your hair appear fuller. This ingredient helps reduce hair porosity while improving your hair’s smoothness.
Cocos nucifera Coconut oil: This nourishing oil helps penetrate the hair shaft due to its low molecular weight, making its way to the cortex and helping nurture your scalp, while the fatty acids act as an anti-dandruff agent.
